Swedish, 1732-1816,was a Swedish artist and since 1794 a professor at the Swedish Royal Academy of Art. He became the director in 1810. He produced numerous paintings of mostly women and children performing various daily tasks inside upper- and middle-class homes in Stockholm. Dresses and furniture were painted exactly the way they looked and provide a valuable source of information about what life was like in those days. In addition to this he painted craftsmen in action at mills and other early industrial workplaces. Between 1757 and 1772 he worked as a master tapestry weaver, after learning the trade in France. Anders Trulson, född 14 juli 1874 i Tosterup, död 23 augusti 1911 i Italien, var en svensk konstnär.
Anders Trulson föddes i Tosterup, där fadern var kusk på ett gods. Han fick sin utbildning i Köpenhamn och Stockholm, och blev enligt flera en dansksvensk blandning. Han bodde flera år i Lund innan hans utlandsresor började 1905, bland annat till Paris och Bregge. Trulson dog 1911 bara 37 år gammal på resa i Italien. 1902 var han med och grundade Skånska konstnärslaget som tillsammans med Konstföreningen för södra Sverige var centrum för det skånska konstlivet. Skånes konststil och liv var till stor del utanför övriga Sveriges, inte minst landskapsmåleriet vilket var präglat av ett eget färgspel.
Eva Gonzales French Impressionist Painter, 1849-1883.was a French Impressionist painter. Like her teacher, Edouard Manet, she never exhibited with the Impressionist painters in their controversial exhibitions in Paris, but she is considered part of the group because of her painting style. She was Manets only formal student and modeled frequently for several members of the Impressionist school. She married Henri Guerard and used him and her sister Jeanne Gonzales as the subjects for many of her paintings. Her career was cut short when she died in childbirth at the age of thirty-four, exactly six days after the death of her teacher, Manet. The painting she is completing in Manets Portrait of Eva Gonzales demonstrates the mastery she had achieved at that age. However, it should be noted that this depiction of Gonzales is less than flattering in that her dress, her posture and technique are not actually not those of a professional to painting. The work that Gonzales is working on is in actuallity not her own, but actually one of Manets paintings
